Being able to play and be creative is widely recognized as important to the physical, emotional, social and cognitive development of children and young people.
The People’s Artist project provided opportunities for this for teeny toddlers right through to teenagers and young adults.
The 'Child’s Play' group offered opportunities for parents and toddlers to be creative together (as well as cook nice lunches together) whilst older children and teenagers took part in a programme of activities including music making, dance, mosaic, stone carving, painting, puppet making and even magic!
